Despite their efforts, the rest of the batting order struggled to build partnerships, ultimately resulting in Pakistan being bowled out for 173 in 19.3 overs.

The New Zealand bowlers, spearheaded by Adam Milne‘s four-wicket haul for 33 runs, effectively defended their total. Tim Southee, Ben Sears, and Ish Sodhi also made crucial contributions with the ball, securing two wickets each. In the end, New Zealand emerged victorious by 21 runs, showcasing a well-rounded performance with both bat and ball.
