India’s former skipper Dhoni recently became the fourth cricketer to be invited to the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony and was personally handed the invitation by senior RSS functionary Dhananjay Singh at his residence in Ranchi.
“We handed over the invitation card to him (Dhoni) on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22,” Singh stated to PTI.
The involvement of cricketing icons in such a historic and spiritual event reflects the diverse and inclusive nature of the ceremony, bringing together people from various walks of life and has been warmly embraced by sports enthusiasts with open hearts and genuine affection.
